Our Marketing and Communications team have been doing the rounds today, getting comments from players who were involved in todays cup action.  They reflect on today’s performances and over the whole season.

Champions Cup Semi Final – Men’s 1s away at vs Durham 1s (4-2 loss)

‘Despite the fact that it was a disappointing end to the season, we were really solid during the season for both league and cup competitions.  The boys have been competitive all year and brought a great attitude to the court coming a long way since the first match of the season’ – Gavin McKinley

Trophy Cup Semi Final – Men’s 2’s at home vs  Cambridge 1s (4-2 loss)

‘The team fought well, everyone was on court for a long time. Obviously it didn’t quite come off in the end . We are going for promotion next week so we will try take the fight and determination we had today into that match and hopefully come out tops‘ ­Alex McNaughton

Trophy Cup Semi Final – Women’s 2s at home vs Durham 2sv (4-2 loss)

‘We had tough matches all around but everyone fought hard and put in a lot of effort. They were a solid team and we weren’t able to make the most of it. Still really proud of the girls who I’ve really enjoyed playing with this season’- Olivia Berry

Midlands Conference Cup  Final- Women’s 3s vs Nottingham 4s (5-1 won)

‘We have had a fabulous  season being undefeated. The girls have been great each week, continually staying motivated and focused! #purplepride! ‘- Lois Elson.

Well done to all players who were involved in todays matches. Regardless of the results, you did our Loughborough family proud.
