Some funding is available through Loughborough University’s School and College Liaison team for the sport visits. If you are able to bring between 30-40 students with at least 66% from your widening participation (WP) cohort then School and College Liaison may be able to fully fund your visit or, if bringing smaller numbers, places for your WP students only. Funding is limited each year so if you think you may be eligible please enquire about this as early as you can.
Various criteria exist to identify WP students, generally those from more disadvantaged backgrounds and under-represented groups, and some schools will have WP cohort lists which can be used to aid attendee identification. If you think your school may be eligible for funding, however, you do not have a cohort list but can supply the attendees postcodes, they can be used to assess whether funding may be available.
School and College Liaison
