My Lifestyle has been specifically designed for students who want to exercise, keep fit and play sport for fun in an environment free from competition, expectation and commitment. It offers a huge range of opportunities to help you get physically active, stay healthy and play sport.
My Activities is a FREE weekly timetable of recreational sport activities that runs all year round providing you with the chance to play and try different sports and physical activities. All activities are open to everyone, there’s no need to book, you just turn up and play. They are a great way for you to socialise, have fun and meet lots of new people. My Activities are led by our very enthusiastic and friendly activators who will welcome you and ensure you have a great time.
My Learn To is a programme that offers those who wish to learn a new sport the opportunity to do so. Over the course of a few weeks and with a specialised instructor, My Learn To is designed to introduce and teach you the skills you need to start you off. My Events is a series of recreational sport events that the My Lifestyle brand runs throughout the year. These include fun Freshers events (such as the infamous Raveminton!), and our Fest series which involve one day festival-style events focused on specific sports or physical activities. Gyms – If you want to exercise, keep fit and have a great workout, Loughborough has lots to offer…. Holywell Fitness Centre will certainly have you fit and healthy in no time. It boasts a large fitness suite with all the usual cardio and resistance machines you would expect to see in a gym, a free weights and stretching area plus 2 Fitness Studio’s offering a large range of fitness classes. To access this fantastic facility you can become a member through a number of different membership options.
You can also join Powerbase Gym – one of the largest strength and conditioning gyms in the UK.
Fitness Classes – Every week you can choose from Yoga to Zumba, Body Pump to Circuit Training and many more, so you’re bound to find a class that you’ll enjoy! Find out about Fitness Classes here.
