Loughborough students past and present have competed in the Olympics, both summer and winter, for many years.
The lists include students of Loughborough University and Loughborough College, as well as athletes who use the excellent facilities at Loughborough as a base to train.
The 2016 Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games saw great success for Loughborough athletes, taking home 34 medals. With 22 Paralympic medals and 12 Olympic medals, if Loughborough were a country, we would have placed 10th and 17th in the Paralympics and Olympics respectively.
