Amber Kirschbaum will join the Loughborough Riders for her first season overseas following a successful four years at the University of Northern Iowa.
Amber joins the Riders programme following being award a scholarship to attendLoughborough University’s School of Business and Economics. Amber will study for a masters degree over two years whilst being supported by the partnership between the Leicester Riders and the School of Business and Economics.
Kirschbaum was part of a success Northern Iowa’s programme, with their 3 departing seniors combining for 102 wins. The 6 foot forward joins the Riders as a player known for her intensity at both ends of the floor and her experience will be used both on and off court. In her final year at Northern Iowa, Amber averaged 14 points and 9 rebounds whilst competing in the Missouri Valley Conference, the same conference that current Riders player Mackenzie Westcott, also competed in.
